National Aeronautics and Space Administration: Bent Hose Should Not Delay Atlantis Launch

Ness CANAVERAL, Fla. A flexed radiator hose in Atlantis’ load bay should non delay next week’s space shuttle launch, National Aeronautics and Space Administration said Friday.

The job is with but one of the shuttle’s four braided metal radiator hoses that carry Freon to turn back heat brought forth by shuttle equipment.

A technician will use a long pole with a crotchet to maneuver the hosiery into its recantation box when the warhead bay room access are unopen Sunday nighttime. If that goes well, as everyone anticipates, liftoff will stay on track for Thursday good afternoon, said NASA spokeswoman Candrea Thomas.

Even if the flexed hose breaks during the flying, Atlantis could carry off with the others, functionaries said.

Atlantis was called to wing in December to the international space station, but was anchorred by quicksilver fuel gauges. NASA made some modifications and think that job is nowed corrected.

Atlantis will carry Europe’s main share to the infinite station, the Columbus scientific discipline lab.
