Male Monkeys ‘Pay’ Females for Sex, Study Finds
Coupling may be a natural instinct, but monkey business concern doesn’t come free for male macaques who have to “pay” female persons for their hearts, the AFP reported Wednesday.
Concording to the study, a survey of the Primates conducted by Michael Gumert of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore launched that the male monkeys must first groom the female earlier she will permit sex. The male persons use preparation as a word form of dateness to purchase sex from the female, the survey found.
Goed forth to her own desires, a female macaque mates about 1.5 multiplication an 60 minutes, but that rate jumps to 3.5 multiplication an 60 minutes when the male partner first furnished grooming service, the survey found.
